Sand CanterThe sand canter is situated near the Barbury yard. It is approximately one-and-a-half furlongs round and has a deep surface of Wexford sand, a surface that is particulay effective at getting a horse fit. It is on a slight camber and is useful for horses in only light work. It is also used as a warm up canter before schooling. |
