After pleasing in his schooling sessions in the previous weeks, Cahill made his hurdling debut at Market Rasen on Saturday, and although he jumped the first flight well, he seemed to give himself a fright at the following hurdle, and from there he seemed to lose his confidence, hopefully this experience will not be lost on him and he can deliver a better performance next time.

Laser Blazer ran well considering it was 2 months since he was last seen on a racecourse, finishing second, he can hopefully progress from this outing.

The Barbury Queen made a pleasing racecourse debut in the bumper on Saturday, she is a Milan half sister to the talented staying chaser, ‘Priests Leap’ she has already got plenty of schooling under her belt and is learning her trade nicely.

Monday morning consisted of another busy schooling session , with 35 horses jumping outside on the main schooling grounds, it was great to see the transition the young horses made from jumping inside the school to then schooling outside, a task that sometimes can prove daunting for a young horse.
