PRESENTING LISA won the pre-Christmas Towcester bumper for us last year, so fingers crossed Cajun Fiddle can stage a repeat in the finale there tomorrow.

Alan makes no secret of the high opinion he has for Cajun Fiddle. He said:”She is a lovely filly and we think she’s decent. She was a beaten favourite at Wetherby first time out, but she did nothing wrong in ground that was heavy, and she has come on for that promising second.

Give Him A Glance shaped well on his first run for us in a bumper at Southwell last month, finishing second to a horse who has since bolted up at Warwick, so the form is sound and we are looking forward to our fellow making his jumping debut in the maiden hurdle. He can sometimes be free so we have been teaching him to settle at home, and whatever he does here he will improve on as the season progresses.

“Our other runner there is Brod Na Heireann in the opening novice hurdle. We have yet to see him produce the ability on the track that he shows us at home in the mornings, and, hopefully, it is only a matter of time before the penny drops.”
