The change in the weather came too late to save Stratford, which is still under water, but we have Kings Bayonet heading to Haydock tomorrow for their two-mile hurdle series final.

Alan said:”Fingers crossed the rain stays away as Kings Bayonet would appreciate this drying ground. He disappointed on the soft at Newbury last time but had previously won well at Huntingdon so deserves a shot at this £50,000 prize.

“We also have Elgin in the bumper. He finished fifth on his debut at Southwell last month and has hopefully benefited from the experience. He was too backward to run last year when in training with James Fanshawe.”
