With the jump horses continuing to run well on Friday it was the turn of some of our flat string to come under orders both at York and Newbury. Burguillos, a three year old son of Lope De Vega made his debut at Newbury and ran a superb race to finish a 9 length 3rd place. A strong sort who has always pleased at home, he will have learned a lot from the outing and there will be plenty more to come;.

Primotivo got his 3 year old campaign off to a fantastic start when winning what looked a competitive handicap in eye catching style. To win off 7lb’s higher than his last victory as a 2 year old and with a step up in trip highlights how much he has strengthened and developed over the winter and hopefully he can continue this progression throughout the summer.

Master Blueyes continued the flat strings good run of form when winning at York on Friday evening, having his first start of the season he showed a marked improvement for a step up in trip and the decision to geld him at the end of his 2 year old campaign has proved to pay dividends, hopefully he can continue to show improvement thorough the summer.
