ALTHOUGH it has been a relatively quiet week with the amount of runners we have had, it is great to see the recent run of good results carry on from last weekend. William H Bonney was having his first start over hurdles at Plumpton on Monday after already finishing 2nd in both his bumper starts, running behind two potentially smart horses. On the whole he jumped well and was still babyish running to the line, eventually winning by 2 lengths, he will gain plenty of confidence from this experience and was great to have a winner for Bob and Pauline Scott who have supported the yard for many years.

Cahill was very unlucky not to defy a 12lb rise in the handicap at Wolverhampton on Tuesday afternoon. A horse who seems to have developed a love affair with Wolverhampton after winning by 19 lengths on his first visit here, and nearly holding on to win again yesterday, just getting collared in the closing stages of the race, hopefully he can continue in this rich vein of form.

We have also this morning been able to upload a short video feature onto the website so a massive thank you to Nathan Horrocks and his team at Equine Productions, we hope you enjoy our ‘new look’ website.
