With so many of the turf tracks saturated, if not completely under water, racing is lucky to have the all-weather courses, and Ridgeway Storm dips his toes into Lingfield waters for the first time in the £19,000 two-mile handicap on the polytrack tomorrow.

Alan said:”Ridgeway Storm has done us proud on the all-weather, but, though he has run at Kempton, Wolverhampton, Chelmsford and even the fibresand at Southwell, this will be his first time at Lingfield.

“He ran well to finish third at Kempton last time, his first race for three months, and that ought to have knocked the cobwebs away, so with Tom Queally, who knows him so well, back on board we are hoping for a bold run.”
