.Its been another great week for everyone at the yard, the boss sent out six runners, two of them winning and three placed efforts. Behind the scenes everything has ticked along nicely with a good work morning on Wednesday, and busy but successful schooling morning on Thursday with 37 horses schooling, we are however, still waiting for sufficient rain so we can school on the grass.

Primitivo ran a smashing race on Wednesday at Nottingham, stepping up in trip to Im 2f to finish second by three quarters of a length, it wont be long until he goes one place better.

Paddy’s Runner put up a great performance at Bangor, to win his second hurdle race, running under a penalty made his task a demanding one but he showed great determination after a mistake at the last and although he has ran some good races on the flat his record over hurdles reads three starts, two wins and a place, a great addition to the Lets Live Racing team. On the same day Shadarpour finished runner up on his seasonal debut at Warwick under a great ride from Will Featherstone, taking a handy ten pounds of weight off his back.

Oceane made his hurdling debut at Fontwell on Friday, travelling and jumping well throughout, he ran out a twelve length winner, and he can hopefully continue to progress throughout this season converting his good flat form to hurdling. Invocation followed up from his first run with another solid effort at Wolverhampton on Friday evening finishing third only being beaten two and a half lengths by a highly regarded prospect.

Its great to see the horses running and working well and long may it continue.
