Tyrell kept up the stable’s excellent strike-rate when winning on the Flat at Nottingham yesterday, and celebrations were topped up when Precision Five captured the opener at Bangor today, but Alan is concentrating on the level tomorrow, when we have two runners, Master Blueyes in the mile and a half handicap at Goodwood’s fifth and final stage and the versatile Who Dares Wins, who shoulders topweight in the finale over the same trip at Chester.

Alan said:”Master Blueyes has enjoyed a great season, winning his first two races and finishing third in the other two, beaten only two and three lengths respectively, so he is worth his place in this field. It looks very competitive, as you would expect for the money (£75,000), but he looks to have a solid chance of again getting a slice of the cake.

“Who Dares Wins won three races on the Flat in the space of 25 days last summer and also did us proud over hurdles during the winter, winning twice. He has enjoyed a nice break since the Cheltenham Festival and we are delighted to have again secured the services of Tom Marquand, who has struck up a good rapport with the horse.”
