Thursday September 21

We were in celebratory mood after Kozier had slugged it out up the straight to bag the final race of Chepstow’s 2017 Flat season on Tuesday, and now we hope William Hunter will keep up the good work at Yarmouth today.

The £20,000 prize money is not to be sniffed at, and William Hunter, who has been staying on well when picking up bronze medal in his last two races over the mile and a half, might well be suited by stepping back up in trip.

William Hunter’s one previous run over this mile and six resulted in an excellent third, beaten less than two lengths, at Sandown last year, so while this looks another competitive handicap, he heads for the East coast in good form.
